First budget tram for the urban community
BORDEAUX; NO MONEY FOR THE VIADUCT OF ACCESS
TO THE BRIDGE OF AQUITAINE
The urban community of Bordeaux (CUB) is ready to launch its project
of tram as soon as the prefect signs the declaration of public
utility. Budget 2000 that it has just voted envisages 1,625 billion
francs of investments on this sum, 419 million is directly assigned
to the tram for the first work rivets right, of which construction
of the garages and the workshops, and for work on Pessac/Talence.
Several budgetary headings related on concomitant work, displacements
of networks or the networks of heat clearly indicate the priority
given to this project which opportunely comes to consolidate the
projects of installation of the quays rivets left.
The CUB will finance for the second year the western access road (15 million). It continues moreover its significant construction schedule of a basin of storage and depollution of water to the Snap fastener (14 million) and envisages, on the zone Alfred-Daney, the installation of his division indication (12 million).
Work of setting to the standards of the stations of purification
of Ambarès (20 million) and Eysines (20 million) still
occupies a considerable share of an action plan which announces
the first 15 million francs to renovate the street Sainte-Catherine
(Wilmotte project) and a first section of 180 million road works
of a triennial program.
The CUB will take part in the deficit of the ZAC Heart-of-Country
house to height of 49 million and will finance 4 million studies
for Lucien-Faure crossing. But not of trace, in the budget, of
financing of the widening of the viaduct of access to the bridge
of Aquitaine nor of its contribution to the railway stopper of
Bordeaux, that the prefect also awaits him impatiently...
